You can’t ‘stall’ the aircraft, if the engine cuts out – the rotors keep spinning and we can simply hover to with in 50ft of the ground and then just pick up a bit of airspeed and we will gently land in a small field. These are probably the most safest and stable aircraft to ever travel in – and they just LOVE windy conditions, after all – its what makes the rotors work! 35mph winds – no problem. When all the fixed wing aircraft are stuck on the ground, we are flying and you won’t even notice the wind or turbulence.
